The jury of the Grenoble Alpes University's doctoral college has recognized the quality of the research work performed by Thomas Sannicolo, who is one of 7 laureates of the 2018 Thesis Prize. This prize is awarded to doctoral students who have defended their thesis during year 2017 in one of the 14 doctoral schools of the site.

Thomas Sannicolo defended his thesis on "Transparent electrodes based on silver nanowire networks: electrical percolation, physical properties, and applications" on October 30, 2017. This work was done under the direction of Daniel Bellet (Pr at LMGP) and Jean-Pierre Simonato (CEA-Liten) has given rise to international publications in well-known journals in the field of nanomaterials.
