Dr. Hanna PAZNIAK specializes in the chemical synthesis and processing of nanolaminated materials, in particular transition metal carbides and nitrides and their 2D counterparts, called MXenes, for energy-related applications. Her work lies at the intersection of inorganic chemistry and materials science, with a strong emphasis on advanced structural, spectroscopic, and surface characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
She has co-authored 46 peer-reviewed journal articles and 10 conference proceedings. She acquired funding as Principal Investigator for the Carnot Program (2024-2025) and a joint ANR-DPG project (2024-2027).
